Talking Toileting Webinar for occupational therapists
Talking Toileting is a 2 x 1.5 hour webinar for occupational therapists, presented in collaboration with Di Collis, a Queensland based paediatric occupational therapist.
This webinar series continues to be available through Occupational Therapy Australia.
The webinar was developed to provide foundation information for paediatric occupational therapists about:
- Typical development and optimal lifestyle factors, including diet and fluid intake and exercise.
- Challenges that impact on healthy development and occupational participation.
- The role of occupational therapists in supporting children and their families with the development of toilet skills.
- An overview for a systematic approach to utilise within clinical paediatric practice.
